“If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.”

   ― Émile Zola

On Saturday, the Meural digital canvas had its very first Gallery Exhibition at Con Artist Collective to coincide with the Meural launch. It was a special moment for the Meural team: seeing an idea alive like that, delighting and surprising people like that, is something one doesn’t forget easily.

Con Artist Collective was Meural’s first home, and we were very proud to showcase the work of some of the incredible artists at Con Artist Collective, including art and photography by Rachael Senchoway, Bettina Vaz Guimaraes, Lisa Larsson, and Laura Tack. To all those who jumped on board the Meural train - thank you. What a ride. And a huge shout out to Brian, head of CAC - your space is truly magical.

Another artist whose work was on display is Eleanor Lutz. To get an artist’s perspective of what a Meural collaboration looks like,  check out yesterday’s Meural blog post.

In true Meural style, classic and modern works held their own alongside the contemporary art and photography. We’re very excited about our partnerships with the ‘big guys’ - Bridgeman Images and 1000 Museums, to name just two. With partnerships like these, we know Meural can truly provide you a window into the past, present, and future of art, right there on your wall.

Most of all, thank you to all those who came for the sparkling wine. We’re glad it gave you the Dutch courage to try something new: changing the art on your wall through simple hand gesture (see, you can’t break it!) Seriously now, thank you for the support, the love, and the constructive criticism. Without you, there is no Meural.

We’ll keep you posted on the next Meural Exhibition. We, too, are here to live out loud.
